Bao was raised in Texas by Vietnamese refugee parents, and she said that she was very proud to be the first Asian descent to appear on MAFS. When Bao first set eyes on Johnny, she knew him. The two knew each other because they hung out in the same circles, and Bao admitted that back then, in their college days, she asked Johnny to go to a museum with her and he ghosted her. Fast forward to the “I do’s” and the two continued with the match, regardless of their prior affiliation. The relationship quickly fizzled when Johnny started revealing all the things he didn’t like about his new wife; he didn’t like that she didn’t shower before bed, and how giddy she often was, amongst other things like not cooking and cleaning his standards. Johnny got a lot of backlash from MAFS fans because of his acting like the world revolved around him. Aside from them being a bad match, their rumors of his infidelity with Myrla Feria from the same season. And, Johnny treated Bao so poorly that even Pastor Cal called him out for it.
Married At First Sight Spoilers – Moving On
Clearly from Johnny’s social media, he has moved on with another woman. There are photos of them together doing different activities and all with big smiles on their faces. MAFS fans can’t help wondering with Johnny in a new relationship, did his new gal pal do her research before dating him since he treated Bao like trash.
Here is what some MAFS fans had to say about the news, “Literally seemed like he was throwing a tantrum for 8 straight weeks because he wasn’t matched with some hot, young, submissive wife. Dude clearly had issues and was not ready to be in a serious relationship, let alone marriage,” and “he sabotaged the relationship, because she knew him from before,” and “we can hope that he’s grown.”
The sixteenth season of Married at First Sight will feature ten singles from Nashville, Tennessee, and will be aired on Lifetime, with a planned premiere of January 4th, 2023 at 8:00 pm ET.
