General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have a steady stream of money coming in thanks to her new tenant. When Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) showed up all wet claiming that a burst pipe drove him out of his apartment, Maxie quickly offered a temporary place to stay.

Of course, Spinelli insisted on paying Maxie for lodging and amenities, so that’ll really help out when it comes to her money woes.

GH fans eventually learned this was all a scheme Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) cooked up with Spinelli.

Maxie is too proud and stubborn to accept much help right now, so this seems like a clever solution.

As a bonus, this could give Maxie and Spinelli a chance to get their love story back on track.

Spinelli has deep feelings for Maxie and would love to reunite with her romantically, but that storyline’s been stalled for quite some time.

Now that Spinelli’s going to be living under Maxie’s roof, it’s the perfect time to pick it back up.

Maxie and Spinelli can strengthen their bond in close quarters, especially if Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) plays matchmaker a bit.

However, it’s only a matter of time before Maxie uncovers the truth.

How will Maxie react when she finds out Spinelli plotted with Felicia and never really needed a temporary place to live at all?

It’s possible Maxie will flip her lid, but it’s also possible that she’ll be deeply touched over Spinelli and Felicia’s elaborate plan to help her.

Spinelli might get backed into a corner and explain his side of the story eventually.

Perhaps Spinelli will talk about how much he cares for Maxie and insist he couldn’t stand by and do nothing while she struggled.

It’d be great if instead of fuming and kicking Spinelli out, Maxie planted a big kiss on him.

Maybe Maxie will be so overwhelmed by her growing feelings and Spinelli’s generosity that she pulls him into a smooch.

Regardless, Spinelli’s heart is in the right place, so Maxie will hopefully understand that once she discovers what’s really going on.
