General Hospital loves detonating unexpected story bombs on fans every now and then. In a very unanticipated and slick move, the makers just slipped us Port Charles’ next mega villain! Those who tuned into the December 1, 2023, episode saw an unfamiliar face arrive at in town. The man – Mr. Brennan is being portrayed by actor Charles Mesure. While, at first glance he may appear innocuous. But, a little birdie tells us that Brennan in all likelihood is the uber infamous Pikeman!
Yup, General Hospital was rather nonchalant and smooth about finally introducing the man who has had all PC bigwigs in knots thus far! Which, by the way, also means that Cyrus is just Cyrus and not Pikeman head honcho after all. So what exactly is Cyrus’ angle in the story? Oh wait, that’s a tale for another day! Right now, Brennan is weaving a far more concerning and sinister plan than Cyrus may have in mind. In the recent episode, Sonny declared that he was done working for Pikeman.
And just as the dimpled don denounced his Pikeman association, Brennan set his sights on Sonny’s soft spot – Carly on General Hospital. After some smooth talking with Carly at Kelly’s Brennan left her with a burning promise of meeting again soon enough. We wonder why! Could he be hoping to use Carly as leverage against Sonny, if he refuses to comply? It is a fair possibility! It’s no secret that he would do just about anything for Carly.
It seems General Hospital is really about to hit an all time high on the thriller quotient. Especially since so many of the soap’s stalwarts are embroiled in this particular storyline. Sonny, of course, is in the nether of it. Now, Brennan has also begun roping Carly into the middle of it all. Also, let’s not forget Valentin Cassadine has ties to the Pikeman saga too. Which by default ropes in Anna. Even though, the two are on tricky terms, it is unlikely they will dessert each other!
And we are pretty sure it won’t stop at the above mentioned General Hospital characters. However, at this point, we can’t even anticipate what could happen next in this mob tale!
