General Hospital comings and goings put Tracy Quartermaine back in Port Charles this week and she’s in for quite a few surprises.
Also, a legacy character might finally get a tribute and a familiar face may resurface on GH. Check out the latest casting updates for the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Comings & Goings: Tracy Quartermaine Comes Home
GH casting updates show Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) home again this week. On December 8th she’s back in PC and remembering her past. Most likely, she’s reflecting on her time with the late Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
She was just in Amsterdam with Luke’s sister, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), and they were getting his affairs in order. Hopefully, this means that she delivers the news of Bobbie’s death soon. Of course, it will be tragic and sad.
But, because the Bobbie actress passed away in real life, her death must be acknowledged and General Hospital needs to honor her memory. Additionally, Tracy is in for a couple of shocks.
First, her son, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), finally remembers who he is. Of course, Tracy will be ecstatic. However, she will likely also berate him for “abandoning” his family.
Additionally, she’ll be in shock when she finds out that her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), is now engaged to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). No doubt, she will be happy for them on General Hospital.
But, she’ll likely take credit for their engagement. After all, she believes she’s the reason they are back together in the first place. Indeed, it’ll be wonderful to have the feisty Tracy Q back on our screens.
GH Casting News: Alcazar Resurfaces?
More General Hospital casting news also suspects Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) may be on his way back to Port Charles. Three hints recently surfaced suggesting this. First, a leak saying that a character who has been off the canvas for more than 10 years may be resurfacing.
Indeed, that fits Lorenzo Alcazar. It was also said that this character is a brand name and might be a little pricey. No doubt, that fits Ted King. The second hint — and it’s a big one — is that Ted King recently stated that he spoke with someone who likes to hire people in parking lots.
Now, many General Hospital viewers will get that this is in reference to Frank Valentini. Remember, he hired Wes Ramsey for the role of Peter August in the parking lot. So, this is a huge clue that he rehired Ted to bring back the character of Lorenzo.
Lastly, Lorenzo has ties to many front-burner characters in Port Chuck. One of them being Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) who is back in town after a decades-long absence. He was romantically involved with her back in the day.
So, his returning not long after her makes perfect sense. Plus, if he returns for Lois that would keep her on the canvas longer which General Hospital fans would love. So hopefully, these leaks pan out and Lorenzo Alcazar will return soon.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Spencer Cassadine Takes a Break
More GH casting news suggests that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) might exit temporarily. He landed a major role in the Netflix series MONSTERS: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
So, unless he films ahead of time, he may not be seen for a while. Additionally, Austin Holt‘s (Roger Howarth) run on General Hospital is over now that he’s dead.
Furthermore, his exit could be what paves the way for Alcazar’s return. GH is thrilling right now. Don’t miss a minute to see Tracy Quartermaine return to several shockers on the ABC daytime drama.
