General Hospital predictions suspect Carly Corinthos Spencer will become a target soon once the newest villain figures out who she is on the ABC soap opera.
Mr. Brennan on a Mission on General Hospital
Recently, on GH, we found out who’s calling the shots with Sonny Corinthos‘ (Maurice Benard) Pikeman deal. It’s the charming (and lethal) Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure), who just arrived in Port Charles. Not only is he the one who’s in charge of Pikeman, but he’s also the director of the WSB.
Recently, the silver fox explained a lot about General Hospital, and now things are making sense. Brennan wants to use Sonny’s territory to ship the Pikeman merchandise. But he also wants to keep a secret WSB Op from the 1980s under wraps because it would make the bureau look bad.
And, of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has the only report left from the Op that went sideways. So, Brennan needs to make sure that it is destroyed — along with Anna. Of course, agent Jameson Forsythe was supposed to take care of Anna, but he failed.
And it seems that Brennan’s the one that had him killed. Now, he is taking matters into his own hands and going after Anna. However, she is not the only one. Clearly, he can see that no amount of money is going to make Sonny cooperate on General Hospital. So, he’s considering another tactic.
Carly Corinthos Spencer in Danger on GH
He recently said there are other ways of using leverage to get somebody to cooperate. And because Brennan recently crossed paths with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright), it looks like he will use her against Sonny.
He took a liking to Carly when he met her at Kelly’s Diner. But it’s likely no coincidence that he chose to eat lunch there.
Most likely, he already knows that Carly is the kingpin’s ex-wife and the mother of his children. And if he doesn’t yet, he soon will. Indeed, that makes her the perfect leverage on the Port Charles kingpin.
Sonny in a Jam
Another clue that suggests Carly is at risk on General Hospital is Sonny’s recent conversation with his new wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He reminded Nina that Carly has always been at risk, even after they divorced.
His enemies know she is under his protection because they share children and many years of history. Not to mention, she ran his mob biz while he was in Nixon Falls, suffering from amnesia. So, this could be foreshadowing now that Brennan is in town.
Clearly, this man has no limits. So, he may snatch Carly up and hold her hostage until Sonny agrees to work with Pikeman. No doubt, he’ll comply to keep his ex-wife safe. And it could be the start of a “Carson” reunion.
General Hospital Predictions: Sonny Saves Carly – “Carson” Sparks?
If Brennan targets Carly, it’s certain Sonny will do whatever it takes to protect her. And also, because her boyfriend, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), is on his way to Australia for ELQ business, he won’t be around to help her.
So, it will all fall on Sonny. Of course, Nina won’t want anything to happen to Carly. However, if she becomes Sonny’s sole focus, that won’t sit well with her. And she will likely feel threatened on General Hospital.
Plus, if she and Sonny go through a traumatic ordeal together and he saves her life, they could spark again. No doubt, that would cause major drama for both of their relationships, especially once the truth about Nina and the SEC comes out.
