General Hospital spoilers find Anna Devane horrified after shooting an intruder in her new apartment in the new GH weekly promo. It sends everyone into a panic as the investigation begins on the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane Crumbles
This week, on GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is utterly horrified when she realizes that the “armed intruder” inside her apartment is Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Currently, Anna is unaware Charlotte is the one terrorizing her.
Of course, Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) knows, but he is keeping it from Anna. He’s staying quiet until he can figure out how to help Charlotte and protect her on General Hospital.
While Charlotte was out trick-or-treating with Jake Webber (Hudson West) and their friends, she dipped out and headed to Anna’s. It’s still unclear exactly what she planned to do because Anna returned home and realized her door was not locked.
She thinks the person who is after her is a WSB agent trying to cover his tracks. And she would never suspect that Charlotte would be there. So, she yelled, “Freeze!”, and the intruder turned around, and Anna fired, thinking the person was armed.
She can’t believe her eyes when she discovers it’s Charlotte on General Hospital. Then, Jake shows up and calls for help. Indeed, Anna is confused and cannot believe she shot her boyfriend’s daughter. And soon, she could face serious charges.
PCPD Scrambles on GH
Later, the PCPD launches an investigation and tries to piece together the information they have. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) confers with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
All three of them are close to Anna. They know she was not acting maliciously and genuinely thought she was protecting herself. However, they need to put their personal connection to Anna aside and deal with the facts.
Dante tells Robert and Jordan that Anna left her apartment and locked the door on General Hospital. When she got back, the door was unlocked. She thought she saw an intruder with a weapon, and that’s why she opened fire.
Meanwhile, at The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) try to make sense of the situation. Gregory wonders what Charlotte was doing at Anna’s in the first place.
Elsewhere, at General Hospital, Jake begs his mother, nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), to tell him that Charlotte will be okay.
Anna Unleashes Her Fury on General Hospital
In the last scene of the promo, Anna is in the GH stairway with who looks to be Valentin. She looks furious as she yells something. Then, she hauls off and slaps him intensely hard.
So, most likely, Valentin admits to Anna Charlotte’s the culprit — and he’s known for some time. Indeed, if Valentin just went to Anna with the truth right away, all of this could have been avoided.
And Charlotte would still be safe, not fighting for her life at General Hospital. Plus, Anna wouldn’t be drowning in guilt. So, it’s doubtful their relationship will last much longer.
