General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Takes Nina’s Place in Sonny’s Bed – Romantic Rendezvous Ends with a Switch?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in a tight spot since she’s been growing closer to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). GH fans know Sonny and Ava had a rather electric moment in the chapel, which highlighted the sparks they’re both feeling right now.

Although Nina doesn’t seem to like how involved Ava’s become in Sonny’s business, she seems oblivious to any romantic developments.

To be fair, nothing much has happened yet for Nina to pick up on, but that could change in the very near future.

Despite Ava’s own complicated emotions, she reassured Nina and told her not to sign the divorce papers.

Nina is worried about Sonny’s feelings for her fading, especially if he moves on with someone else.

However, Ava acted like they just wouldn’t let that happen and has made it clear that she plans to help Nina.

Of course, planning to help someone and actually helping someone are two very different things!

Ava’s next idea to keep Nina and Sonny’s marriage afloat could actually be what sinks it even further.

At some point, maybe Ava will come up with some sort of romantic rendezvous plot for Sonny and Nina.

Perhaps Ava could set something up for Nina and try to lure Sonny into a passionate trap.

Ava might suggest that if Sonny is forced to sit down to a romantic dinner with his current wife and actually talk, he might get past Nina’s transgressions.

Nina might find herself hoping that by the end of the night, she can reconnect with Sonny in bed.

Unfortunately, this could easily turn into a situation where Sonny blows his top and warns that he’s never getting back together with Nina.

Sonny may not react well to Nina’s attempt to win him back, especially if Ava’s tangled up in all this.

It could lead to Nina leaving in tears while Ava’s stuck facing more of Sonny’s anger afterward.

That could actually work out in Ava’s favor since sometimes Sonny can get turned on when he’s riled!

Sonny may not be willing to take Nina to bed, but could Ava slide right in and take her place?

It’s easy to imagine an Ava and Sonny fight that turns passionate after Ava botches things for Nina.
