General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) and her loved ones are dealing with some devastation right now. On Instagram, McCoy shared some difficult news about a heartbreaking loss in her family.

The grieving GH star started off by admitting it felt “almost performative” to dive into something so personal on social media, but she felt it was the best way to get the word out to people who didn’t know what was going on.

Sadly, Eden McCoy’s mother passed away after fighting an intense cancer battle for two and a half years.

Once McCoy confirmed that her mom has “left us physically,” she spoke from the heart and called her mother the best thing she’d ever known.

McCoy also urged everyone to remember that nothing is promised and hinted that “your life really can change in just a moment.”

With that in mind, McCoy thought back to her mom’s advice and suggested doing everything as if you were doing it for the last time.

“Losing my mother has always been my greatest fear, as I’m sure many of you feel the same, and we have this habit as people of thinking that it will never happen to us. Unfortunately it can, and sometimes it does,” McCoy said in her post.

Although McCoy would do anything for more time with her mother, she’s grateful for the time they did have and shared a photo from their last trip together.

McCoy wrapped things up with a message to her mom and shared her hope that they’d meet each other again someday.

Of course, it wasn’t long until McCoy received condolences from both fans and her co-stars. Everyone wanted to reach out and make sure McCoy felt their support.

“I love you so so much. I am here for you always xo,” Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) said in the comments.

Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) offered sympathy next and said, “so sorry darling it’s all very hard to understand.You just have to keep moving forward.”

Evan Hofer (Dex Heller), Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins), Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase), Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) and other fellow cast members also wrote comforting words under McCoy’s post.

This is certainly a crushing blow for Eden McCoy and her family, so our hearts go out to them as they mourn the loss.

General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s New Apartment Enrages Spencer – Struggle Over Ace Time & Secret Desires

 

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will move forward with a big decision that’ll affect several people. After Esme sits Laura Collins (Genie Francis) down for an important conversation, she’ll reveal that she wants to get her own place with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

GH fans know this is an idea that Esme’s been considering for a while now, but she’s finally ready to turn it into a reality.

Esme recently asked Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for a raise so she could afford her own apartment, so it seems Alexis will come through for her on more money.

Of course, Laura will still have concerns about Esme living on her own with Ace. It’s a huge step, so Laura will want to be sure Esme’s ready for that level of independence.

Furthermore, Laura will have concerns about Esme’s motives and may fear something’s happened to upset her.

Although Esme will be incredibly grateful to Laura for all her help since Ace’s birth, she’ll believe this is the right move for her as well as her son.

Esme will get honest about why she really wants to do this and will admit Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is the main reason why.

General Hospital spoilers say Esme will come clean about her growing feelings for Spencer, but she’ll assure Laura that she doesn’t want to cause issues in his relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

With that in mind, Esme will think the best thing she can do is take a step back from Spencer and create some distance.

Laura will eventually understand Esme’s perspective and accept that this choice is what’s right for her.

At some point, Esme will discover a new apartment listing, so she’ll think it sounds perfect and will give Laura updates on it soon after.

That’ll lead to Spencer getting the news about Esme moving out with Ace, so he’ll fly off the handle and consider this a betrayal.

Spencer may throw some accusations around and act like Esme is trying to drive him out of Ace’s life.

Although Spencer will refuse to get shoved aside, Esme may eventually admit this is more about him than his little brother.

Will Esme tell Spencer about her romantic feelings and insist that’s why she’s pulling away?
