General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Accused of Attempt on Cyrus’ Life – PCPD’s Top Suspect After Dex Makes a Mess?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will have to wait until Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is gone before he can carry out Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) fatal instructions.

Sonny is determined to wipe Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) off the map permanently, so he just sent Dex to the hospital so he can end Cyrus’ life.

Although Dex initially had reservations, Sonny convinced him to go do what needed to be done.

However, Dex didn’t anticipate Nina’s visit to Cyrus’ room and will have to wait on them to conclude their business.

Nina will be busy reaching an agreement with Cyrus that could help Sonny get rid of his current legal problems.

Of course, the timing is interesting since Nina asked the nurses’ desk for info on Cyrus’ room number.

Now there’s proof that Nina was looking for Cyrus – and that could be a problem once an attempt is potentially made on his life soon after.

We should mention that Sonny’s going to change his mind and frantically try to get in touch with Dex. Sonny will do whatever he can to get Dex on the phone and push him to abort the mission.

Alas, Dex will be in the middle of carrying out the plan, so he’ll miss Sonny’s phone call. That leaves the door open for Dex to give Cyrus the IV injection that he talked about with Sonny off-screen.

Naturally, Cyrus could still survive if Dex gets the dosage wrong or is only able to deliver a partial dose before he has to get out of there.

Then again, Cyrus might get medical help before it’s too late or receive a good old-fashioned soapy miracle.

Whatever the case, Cyrus might end up in a coma after an attempt is made on his life. That could leave Cyrus unable to identify who tried to take him out – at least for a while.

This could lead to big trouble for Nina since it might look like she was behind the nearly fatal injection.

Nina could become suspect number one in the new investigation and even get arrested at some point.

How would Sonny handle it if Nina got hauled off in handcuffs over something he sent Dex to do? It’s an interesting dilemma to ponder, so maybe GH writers will put Sonny in that situation.
