General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht’s Double Revenge – 2 Storylines Liesl Needs to Be Around For
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) hasn’t been around lately, but maybe it’s time for the show to change that! We can think of at least two storylines that Liesl should be part of, so let’s talk about how Obrecht could get double the revenge.
For starters, Liesl deserves a new opportunity to fall in love – and with newly single Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) looking so lonely and heartbroken, this could be Liesl’s opportunity to come together with him.
Although Obrecht and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) managed to find a pretty amicable path to closure in the end, part of her may still want a little payback.
Liesl felt like Scott betrayed her dear “Britta” aka Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) by helping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who initially didn’t reveal everything she knew about Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) not being “The Hook.”
That played a role in Britt’s demise according to Liesl and led to her relationship with Scott crumbling.
It’d be great see Scott and Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) reaction to Obrecht and Martin falling for each other next! Scott might be insanely jealous, so that could be fun for Obrecht.
However, there are other good reasons for Liesl to become a key player in Port Charles again, especially since Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is so determined to totally destroy Nina Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) life.
If Drew takes his revenge plot too far, that could prompt Liesl to get some revenge of her own! Obrecht adores Nina and is always going to care when she gets hurt, so Drew had better keep that in mind.
Although Liesl might be willing to put up with Drew’s petty antics, she’ll draw the line if Drew does anything that could seriously harm Nina.
Drew has become a bit unhinged and could easily take this plot for vengeance further than he should, so Obrecht might target him down the road.
Bottom line, Liesl is an excellent GH character who could fit in some exciting storylines, do let’s hope she gets a chance at revenge in more ways than one.
