General Hospital Spoilers: Shawn Butler Gives Nina Big Win – Valentin Scores Publishing Partnership?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is determined to help Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) fight back against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so more trouble’s brewing.

Just when Nina was feeling discouraged enough to maybe throw in the towel on her rival magazine, Valentin stepped up to boost her confidence again.

The idea of Nina giving up so easily just didn’t fly with Valentin, who’d much rather see Nina settle the score!

While Nina warned Drew that he’d regret messing with her, Valentin made a mysterious phone call and hinted about a proposal. Who was Valentin calling and why?

To solve that mystery, perhaps we should consider some GH February sweeps preview spoilers that still haven’t played out yet.

We know Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will have to deal with a new business partner at The Invader, so maybe that story will tie in with Valentin’s efforts to help Nina.

Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is the publisher of The Invader and left Alexis to run things in Port Charles while he focused on expansion plans in San Francisco.

It makes sense that Valentin might seek some sort of publishing partnership that would help get Nina’s rival magazine off the ground.

Since Drew managed to sever most of Nina’s connections to talent, this could open up a whole new pool of it.

When Valentin made that hopeful phone call in the February 15 episode, perhaps he was calling Shawn in hopes of negotiating a deal. Will Valentin convince Shawn to get on board with his plan?

Shawn may be the one to give Nina a huge win when she needs it most.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all goes down, but you can bet Valentin will do everything in his power to make sure Nina finds a little happiness again.
