General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, September 5 – Nik’s Grand Plans – Carly Demands Truth – Josslyn Faces Sonny Accusations

GH will pick up the current storylines right where they left off, so you won’t miss a minute of the action when the show returns with Tuesday’s all-new episode.

Let’s start with the topic on everyone’s mind right now: Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) arrest. The feds just dragged Sonny away from his dinner at the Metro Court, so Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will want some answers about the raid on the docks.

Once Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) meets up with Carly, she’ll insist he needs to tell her the truth right now. Carly will no doubt wonder if Michael secretly set Sonny’s arrest in motion as some sort of delayed revenge plot.

Michael will assure Carly of his innocence, so they’ll try to figure out who else would be targeting Sonny.

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will join the conversation before Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) drags herself in the kitchen after a night of partying. When Dex reveals that someone turned Sonny in, Josslyn will be shocked to learn her former stepfather got arrested.

Although Josslyn will briefly face accusations, she’ll make it clear that she didn’t have any proof to use against Sonny and wasn’t behind this. Dex, Michael and Carly will have to work harder if they want to nail down who orchestrated this takedown.

Of course, it looks like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is the guilty party, so he’ll push Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) buttons on Tuesday’s episode about no longer being under Sonny’s protection.

Cyrus may insist Drew needs to come over to his “flock” and ensure his safety that way instead.

Meanwhile, Sonny will refuse to say anything without his attorney present, so he’ll play it smart until Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) can arrive and take over.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will get updates on all this and worry this could be the end of his father, so he’ll give Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) the news and fear a lengthy prison sentence for Sonny.

Over with Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’ll once again pressure Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to move things along when it comes to handing over Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) body.

That obviously isn’t going to happen since Nikolas is alive and well at Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) place.

On Tuesday’s episode, Austin will ask Nikolas about his plans, so Nik will undoubtedly want to return to Port Charles at some point and take back his life.

It’s just complicated since Nikolas could be facing charges for imprisoning Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) if he returns – not to mention he’s caught up in Cyrus’ twisted web now.

General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas may be impatient when it comes to his Port Charles comeback, but Austin may remind him why he has to pump the brakes.
