General Hospital Spoilers Week of August 28 – Crushing News, Risky Manipulation and Enemies New Showdown
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 28-September 1 reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will put some pressure on Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), so we’ll see if that’s about a legal matter or perhaps Diane’s romantic saga with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will console Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as he deals with the reality of Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) ALS diagnosis.
Finn will appreciate having Liz to lean on, especially since it’ll be tough to break this crushing news to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Once Chase gets updates on Gregory’s condition and the limited time it brings, it could inspire him to make a bold move with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Since Chase will deliver a proposition to someone and make a convincing speech, he might propose to Brook Lynn.
Chase may hope he can talk Brook Lynn into fast-tracking their wedding so that Gregory can be there and stand up for him on his big day.
However, Brook Lynn will also be involved in some Deception chaos since Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is about to unleash a firestorm of controversy.
You can bet Brook Lynn will be furious with Tracy once she causes some company mayhem.
As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), he’ll push Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for the whole truth about his alimony payments and all his Deception-related secrets.
It’ll lead to Lucy getting thrown for a loop, so Martin may make some shocking confessions once he’s backed into a corner.
Over with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), he’ll share a dilemma with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and get some advice.
This could involve Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) attempts to sabotage Spencer’s relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and his frustration over not being able to overcome the Cassadine reputation.
As for Selina Wu (Lydia Look), she’ll face a setback that leaves her frustrated as well.
There’ll be some sort of scheme that gets thwarted, so that might involve Selina’s efforts to get her hands on The Savoy.
Other GH spoilers say Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will land in a tight spot, so she’ll hope to manipulate her way out of it.
That’ll lead to Gladys trying to play Nina, which may not work out since Nina’s about to score some stunning intel.
Will Nina find herself in a position to help Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as a result?
Regardless, Dante may grow increasingly suspicious of what’s happening behind closed doors if he’s denied entrance when he tries to pay Sasha a visit.
In the meantime, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will create quite a spectacle, so this could involve another attempt to get himself committed to Ferncliff.
If Cody can get close enough to help Sasha, that’s what he’ll want to do.
In Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will unsettle Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with his questions.
It’s clear that Cyrus has latched onto Drew as a forced ally, so that’ll lead to more problems than Drew bargained for.
Over with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll have a strategy session with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) as they try to gain the upper hand.
Another Sonny vs. Cyrus matchup is brewing once Sonny finds out the truth about Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) boss.
Back with Nina, she’ll enjoy some special grandma time with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
It’ll be a wonderful experience for Nina, but she’ll have to worry about her SEC snitch secret and the possibility that it’ll ruin her life. That’ll continue to hang like a dark cloud over Nina’s happiness.
As for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll try something new to bring Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) memories back. Will “Eddie Maine” experience any familiar flashes or will Olivia’s efforts fail?
