General Hospital Update: Thursday, October 5 – Sonny Picks Punishment – Alarming Medical News – Montague’s Roadblock
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 5, reveals that Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) won’t be deterred by the person who just interrupted his attempt to drug Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Dr. Montague will continue to hold the syringe on Sasha as he declares that he’s walking out of there and taking her with him.
Since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was already sent away and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is presumably stuck in a jail cell, will it be Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) who gets caught in this dangerous confrontation?
Whatever the case, Sasha will get some help and might try to gain the upper hand on Dr. Montague while he’s distracted.
Speaking of distractions, it looks like Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will try to keep himself busy at The Invader as he continues to avoid the conversation he needs to have with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may remind Gregory that Chase deserves to know the truth about his father’s ALS – though she won’t want to put too much pressure on Gregory during an already difficult time.
At GH, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will find Chase looking distraught, so she’ll jump to the wrong conclusion and assume he’s already been given updates on Gregory.
After Tracy mentions Chase’s father, he’ll realize something’s up and will push her to come clean about what’s going on with Gregory.
Chase will shut down Tracy’s attempt to escape this discussion, but we’ll see if she divulges the ALS part or lets Gregory share his actual diagnosis.
At Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) new home, he’ll explain that he purchased the house and deny that it’s a hideout.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will process that news and struggle to make sense of why Valentin would conceal this from her.
As far as Anna’s concerned, Valentin is making suspicious moves that don’t make sense and hiding all sorts of secrets, so she’ll push him to make some big confessions.
Valentin is definitely keeping things from Anna regarding Pikeman and Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) tormenting, but he’ll hesitate to admit too much.
When Charlotte comes home, she may get uncomfortable as she lands in the middle of Anna and Valentin’s conflict.
On a happier note, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will express her gratitude to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) regarding their New York getaway and everything he’s done to make her feel special.
Spencer and Trina will gush about how much they love each other as they prepare to leave their little bubble of bliss – though they’ll carry the memories and look forward to deepening their relationship even further.
Next, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will grow increasingly alarmed as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) declares that he knows exactly what she did.
Sonny will vow to make Gladys pay for it, so she’ll be terrified over what her punishment will look like.
When Sonny urges Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to head out, Gladys will plead with her to stay.
Since Gladys will fear she could end up deceased by the end of all this, she won’t want Sam to leave her alone with vengeful Sonny!
Nevertheless, Sonny will indeed get some privacy with Gladys, so she’ll be petrified as he reveals how he’s going to deal with her betrayal of Sasha.
