General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, March 8, reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will spread the good news now that Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) successful surgery is over. Dante is still in critical condition in the ICU, but the fact that he survived the operation is a good first step on his recovery journey.

Next, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) will bring Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) up to speed on the footage that he confiscated from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), so she’ll be shocked over Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) apparent survival.

Anna knows how loyal Jason always was to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she may think something doesn’t add up here.

Even so, Anna will have to follow the evidence and look into where the suspect could be hiding.

Anna will talk to John about someone Jason would turn to if he needed help.

It looks like Anna will suggest that Jason might’ve shown up at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) door after the mission went sideways.

It won’t be long until John and Anna visit Carly, who’ll learn there’s a suspect in the attempts on Sonny’s life.

Carly will have questions, but John may think she’s putting on an act and interrogate her about where she’s hiding Jason.

However, no one will be more shocked than Carly to find out Jason is alive and tangled up in all the dangerous Sonny drama.

Carly’s reaction to the Jason updates may convince Anna and John that this is genuinely the first she’s hearing about her BFF’s return.

Of course, we know that Jason is injured and in need of medical care.

There have also been spoilers about a face from Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) past tracking her down for help, so will she end up hiding wounded Jason after patching him up?

In the chapel, it looks like Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) may come along and interrupt Sonny’s close moment with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

After Sonny takes off, Nina will grill Ava and feel like she’s holding back.

It’ll become obvious that Ava knows more than she’s saying, so Nina will push her to come clean.

Will Ava continue to keep secrets with Sonny or fill Nina in on Jason’s strange comeback?

As for Sonny, he’ll learn more about John’s investigation and talk to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) about all the Jason chaos, too.

Sonny can’t be sure of anything right now, but he’ll want to find out who did this and take care of the situation.

No matter what’s going on, Sonny will vow to handle it!

At one point, Diane will also speak with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on Friday’s GH episode, so that’ll give Alexis a chance to rant about what it’s like now that Nina’s at The Invader.

Over with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), they’ll talk to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about Dante’s ordeal as well as what they’ve learned about the shooter.

Dex will have reservations about staying in Port Charles and risking Sonny’s wrath, but Michael will push him to stick around and give Sonny some backup.

Even if Sonny doesn’t want it, Michael will think he knows best in this situation.
