GH Recap: Jolting News For Dante On Austin’s Murder

General Hospital Spoilers June 26 through July 7, 2023 | Soaps.com
Dante told his father some shocking GH news.

The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, November 28, 2023, features Dante and Sonny getting the inside scoop on what happened to Austin.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Finn gave his side of the story, Drew gave Scout good/bad news, and Cyrus had a hard time keeping up. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

A Murder Most Foul

Sonny (Maurice Benard) dropped by to see his son and asked for an update on Mason. When was he going to prison? Was he getting a deal? Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) couldn’t confirm nor deny but reminded Sonny that Mason was a small fish. They wanted the big one. Sonny was happy to inform him the big fish was Cyrus (Jeff Kober).

A big shocker came when Dante went to call Austin (Roger Howarth) to confirm. Instead of getting answers, he learned the good doctor was dead. He was shot in a home in Pautuck. Sonny had the answer for that too. Cyrus. Of course, it was Cyrus.

Sonny took off to the Metro Court and made a phone call on the way. Whoever was on the other end (most likely Ava) was told to rush to the hotel. Dante went straight to the station where he met Detective Briscoe to go over the murder.

Out To Lunch

Speaking of Cyrus, Laura (Genie Francis) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) turned up at his new workplace — The Port Charles Grill — unknowingly. They discussed all things Esme, Spencer, Anna, and Charlotte. The ladies finally noticed Cyrus when he dropped a tray and was reamed out by his boss. While he picked up all the broken glass and cleaned up his mess, Laura and Alexis watched on. Does the restaurant know who exactly they hired?

Also out to lunch were Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Scout. She took the kiddo to The Metro Court to see Drew (Cameron Mathison). The little girl interviewed her recently freed daddy about his job and he happily told her about Aurora.

Once that little project was done, Drew dropped good news. His new client was the head of the fancy-schmancy private school Westwood Academy and they have a spot ready for Scout! Yay! Scout was clearly apprehensive but agreed to go.  However, once at home, Scout pouted about the swap and told her mom she didn’t want to switch schools.

Will Charlotte ever realize her grandfather played her?

Hospital Drama

Meanwhile, over at GH, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Portia (Brook Kerr) wondered where in the world Austin was. It wasn’t like him to simply not show up to work. Liz tried to call and text to no avail. Even going to his apartment didn’t heed any good news. He wasn’t around and nowhere to be found (oh, if they only knew…).

Liz took a break from the incessant calling to check on Finn (Michael Easton). He was in quite a state over needing his treatment plans approved and once again wondered if he did fail his patient.

On that topic, GH lawyer, Dede Clark (Shelley Robinson) turned up at Finn’s office door. She ran down some tough questions the hospital needed answered.

Also at the hospital was Molly (Kristen Vaganos). She delivered the good news to TJ (Tajh Bellow) that she set up an appointment to search for a new surrogate. Great, right? Well, not so much. TJ took issue with not being consulted first and informed Molly that he wasn’t ready. He was still processing the loss of their child.

Molly was devastated…until she got words of wisdom from Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro). She then did the most questionable thing possible and went to the meeting alone.
