General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) believes he has Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) right where he wants her. Shortly after Nina married Michael’s father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
Michael discovered that Nina was the one who anonymously tipped off the SEC to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) crime of insider trading.
As viewers know, Carly invested heavily in Aurora Media after overhearing Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) discussing a planned merger between Aurora and ELQ.
This would have likely gone unnoticed by authorities had Nina not decided to anonymously rat Nina out!
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Was Given A Hefty Fine!
Carly’s Aurora stock quickly lost value once the merger was halted. Because of this Carly lost her half of the Metro Court. In addition, she was fined 5 million dollars.
Drew actually served prison time when he took responsibility for Carly’s crime. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) also suffered the wrath of his family when he was accused of being the SEC’s informant. But recently, Michael learned that it was Nina all along.
GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Is Blackmailing Nina Reeves!
Michael is married to Nina’s daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow only recently discovered their connection and due to their tumultuous past, was reluctant to let Nina into her life.
Although Michael wasn’t happy about it, Willow recently agreed to get to know Nina and form a relationship. But now that Michael has leverage over Nina, he decided that he would control Nina’s access to both Willow and their children.
He also demanded that Nina sell back to Carly her half of the Metro Court. Nina did offer to do so, but as of yet Carly has declined.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Is Devastated By Michael Corinthos’ Demands!
Michael has put Nina in a terrible position. All she has ever wanted, besides Sonny, was to get to know her daughters.
Willow’s twin, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), is dead. That leaves Willow as Nina’s only daughter. But she won’t want to hurt Sonny either so look for Nina to give in, at least at first.
That’s why she tried to sell Carly back her half of the hotel. But Michael has done some shady things against Sonny as well.
It wasn’t all that long ago that he planted Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in Sonny’s organization as a mole in order to get enough dirt on Sonny to send him away to prison.
If Nina somehow gets hold of that information, look for a standoff between the two. The question is can Michael and Nina co-exist with each knowing what the other has done? And how would Sonny react to both Michael and Nina’s actions?
