General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest some shocking plot twists on the horizon. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is involved in a very complex storyline within the soap right now. He’s in prison because of his insider trading activities with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was behind the tip to the SEC, which sent him to jail.
He’s also entangled in a storyline with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) as the criminal, who has seemingly found God, aims to make amends with him. Still, with all the moving pieces in each arc, could he be leaving GH in 2023?
General Hospital Spoilers – Could Drew Cain Remain In Jail & Exit Storylines?
GH spoilers don’t suggest Drew is going anywhere, still, with him in prison, he could easily be written off the canvas. As Carly has been working overtime to get him released, it seems like there is some hope that he’ll get out of jail soon, but it’s hard to say.
Ms. Spencer has been working with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn Lee) to prove that Drew’s judge wrongfully sentenced him in a move for political gain.
Still, while it does look like Alexis has made some headway in this regard, as Drew is still in prison, there’s no guarantee he’ll be released anytime soon.
GH Spoilers – Darly Isn’t All Its Been Cracked Up To Be
While there are fans and haters of the Nina and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) coupling, the truth is, Sona has chemistry and a connection. Still, can the same be said for Darly?
Drew’s recent actions have left many viewers with mixed emotions. Not only did he fluff away Carly’s lies about Nina being Willow Corinthos’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bio mom, but he threw himself under the bus to land in jail so that Carly would suffer zero repercussions around the insider trading charges.
This not only means Drew’s life is on hold until his release, but he also misses time with his own daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinate) when the two just re-established their bond from when he was believed to be dead.
As Nina is about to be exposed, Sona may not last that much longer, which also means a CarSon reunion could unfold, especially in light of the fact that the Darly coupling was a massive disaster.
Could Drew exit the canvas to allow Sonny and Carly to rekindle their romance?
