Nina Cries as Sonny Fumes – Ava Ambushed by Surprise Guest
General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview video for the week of January 1-5 reveals that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) won’t be able to outrun the consequences anymore. Nina made the vengeful decision to snitch on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so she’ll pay the price when the truth finally comes out.
“It was you?!” Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) blurts out in the new promo. Nina can be seen looking terrified with tears in her eyes, so she’ll soon realize her world’s about to crash down all around her.
In addition to Sonny, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a brief appearance in the weekly preview clip looking perplexed and upset.
It seems Willow will be on hand for the big reveal of Nina’s role in ratting out Drew and Carly to the SEC, too.
All the progress Nina’s made with Willow could be obliterated in an instant once the truth comes to light.
After Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) puts Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on the spot and gets him to confess to Sonny, the drama will blow up at The Savoy.
Nina will apparently show up with Willow at some point, so she’ll walk into some chaos and realize she won’t have a chance to come clean on her own.
All Nina can do is try to explain her actions and seek forgiveness, but the road ahead won’t be easy!
GH’s weekly preview video also features Ava Jerome (Maura West) getting ambushed and silenced by a mysterious visitor.
A hand can be seen going over Ava’s mouth to keep her quiet, so will that hand belong to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) or someone else?
Next, Carly’s part of the promo hints at the aftermath of a devastating phone call.
Once the American embassy gets in touch with terrible news about Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), Cary will break down in tears and offer updates to Drew.
It turns out Bobbie passed away in her sleep, so Carly will struggle to get over the shock of losing her mother so suddenly.
There’ll be plenty of unanswered questions while Carly awaits more details on the reason for Bobbie’s demise.
