Spencer’s Memorial Is Crashed by an Angry Guest — and Trina Makes a Decision About Her Future

Laura and Kevin arrive at the cemetery and put white roses on a freshly prepared grave, followed by Cyrus. Spencer’s eulogy is read by Alexis as Sonny, Ava and others arrive to put flowers on the grave. Trina, Portia and Curtis are in attendance, along with Sam, Dante, Joss, Kristina, Gregory, Finn, Liz and Cam. Trina and Cam embrace, as Alexis is the last to place a rose down.
Cam tells Trina he’s so sorry for her loss, but she too is sorry for him as Spencer, Joss and Cam have been friends since they were kids. Joss and Trina hug Cam, and he asks if he’ll see Trina at Wyndemere. Trina isn’t sure she can handle it, so Cam asks her to reach out if she needs anything.
Laura thanks Alexis for the beautiful eulogy, and she thanks Ava for opening up Wyndemere for the gathering as it was Spencer’s only real home.

Ava checks on Trina, who admits to feeling numb. Ava has so much to say to her, but Trina says she doesn’t have to say anything as she’s always been there to support her. Ava says she’ll always be here for her. Ava invites her and Portia to Wyndemere, but Portia says they think they are going home.
Liz talks with Cam about losing his oldest friend, and he notes he was his oldest adversary too. Liz will never forget their competition over Emma. Cam heads to his grandmother, and Liz tells Finn she has something to take care of before heading home.
Laura tells Cam how glad she is to have him here. Cam has missed her, and he and Laura head to the car. Kevin tells them he’ll catch up as he has to take care of something.
Finn notices his dad is lost in thought. Gregory says he always wanted to be cremated, but now he thinks he wants a spot and a marker his sons can gather at in the future. Finn says he doesn’t need to think about that, but he says it’s all he can think about. Suddenly Gregory begins to have an episode.

Liz kneels at another grave with a simple marker for Esme. Kevin joins her and places a rose on the grave.
Trina, Portia and Curtis return home, and Trina gets a letter from the Sorbonne saying they’ll save a spot for her next semester. However, she has no intention of returning to Paris, and she’s also not going back to PCU. She says school and everything else is meaningless. Curtis tells her now isn’t the time to make life-altering decisions.
Later Trina decides to take a walk by the lake alone and heads out. She finds her turtle dove in her jacket pocket and remembers when Spencer gave them to her.
At Wyndemere, Ava has put together an album of photos of Spencer that she found while packing up. The doorbell rings and Ava goes to answer it. Meanwhile, everyone talks about Spencer and how they can’t believe he’s gone. Ava answers the door to find Cyrus there.
Ava tells Cyrus he’s not welcome here, but he says he came for his sister. Laura approaches and gives Ava the okay to let him in. Ava storms off, and Cyrus says he wasn’t expecting such hostility on a day like today. Laura asks why he would anything else.
Laura tells Cyrus that he hurt a lot of people and when people see him they see… He says, “A monster? Is that how you see me too?” Cyrus decides to head out and reminds her that he cares about her and wants to do right by her, and is confident that one day she’ll see that.
Joss and Cam comfort one another, and she says that he really influenced Spencer and made him a better person.
Sam tells Dante he’s allowed to grieve too, he’s not on duty today. Dante is worried about his father at the moment and fills Sam in on the FBI investigating Sonny’s shooting, and John Cates is the lead investigator who has a beef with his dad. Sam assumes Sonny doesn’t know, and right on cue he walks up and says, “Sonny doesn’t know what? What aren’t you telling me?”
Dante says there are more people than Anna and Jordan looking into the Metro Court shooting, and it’s an ongoing investigation so he can’t talk about it. Sonny decides to head out, and thanks Ava for hosting them all. Meanwhile, Dante asks Sam if he made a mistake not telling Sonny, but Sam thinks it’s a good thing he didn’t tell his dad about the FBI’s involvement. Dante thinks Sonny might not agree when he finds out.
Cam and Joss head out, and Joss wishes they could have seen one another under not such horrible circumstances. Cam agrees but is glad they did see one another. He asks about Dex, and Joss says they are fine, and he makes her happy. Cam just wants them all to be happy.

Sonny heads to his office and checks in with Brick over the phone, but Brick doesn’t have anything yet. He wants to know who the traitor is so he can deal with him.
Back at the cemetery, Kevin admits he didn’t expect to see Liz at Esme’s grave. Liz knows Esme caused pain for Cameron, but she also returned that pain in helping Nikolas keep her captive. Kevin felt sorry for Esme, who was the most alone person he ever knew. Suddenly Heather is arrives in chains, and she collapses in tears on Esme’s grave. Heather cries that she tried to convince her daughter to forget about Spencer and bide her time until she could help her find her baby again. Heather doesn’t understand why Esme went after Spencer, he was never worth it, and cries her baby must be so cold washed out to sea. Liz tells Heather that she’s sorry for her loss. Heather tells Liz she admires her, she gave Esme a fighting chance in this world by protecting her from Nikolas.
Heather lashes out at Kevin, saying Esme would still be alive if not for him. Liz defends Kevin and says he tried to help Esme. Heather continues to scream at Kevin for protecting Ryan for years, trying to cure him, and unleashing him back into the world where he could get his hands on Esme. She screams, “It’s good people like you who destroy lives!” Liz assures Kevin he’s not responsible for Ryan’s actions. Heather says Liz always wants to see the good in people, but Kevin knows what she’s saying is true. Heather asks what will happen to her grandson, and Kevin says Ace will be well taken care of and he’s in good hands with Laura. Heather begs Liz to keep an eye on them and tells Kevin to do better by Ace than he did Esme or there will be hell to pay. Heather bends down and kisses Esme’s marker before she’s taken back to Pentonville.
Elsewhere, Gregory asks Finn to talk to him and keep his mind off this episode. Finn talks about Violet, and after Gregory calms down, Finn asks if this has happened before. Gregory reveals it has, and the last time Tracy ticked him off so badly to help him forget about the episode. Finn wants him to go to the hospital, but Gregory refuses. Finn becomes angry at his dad for hiding symptoms from him and he wants to help him. Gregory says he wants to save him, but nobody can. Gregory just wants an honest and loving relationship with him in the time he has left, and they embrace.
Liz rejoins Finn, as Gregory is in the car. Finn knows his dad is getting worse, and he had an episode today. She tells him that she’s so sorry. Finn knows his dad won’t be able to look after himself much longer.

At the gatehouse, Michael wipes Amelia’s spit-up off himself and realizes he sent Wiley to school without his workbook. Willow arrives home from work, and he wonders how she makes it look so easy. She says there is no secret, just having a lot of support.
Willow checks on Amelia and then finds Michael looking through Wiley’s workbook. She sees he is in no rush to get to work and asks if he’s still having issues with Drew. Michael says he isn’t, however, Drew asked him to help him get back at Nina, but he said no. She says he had to be tempted, and he admits he was, but he doesn’t want to risk losing his family again. Willow thanks him as it means a lot to her that he backed his words up with actions. Willow says it’s not just them who need to heal, he and his father do too. She says he can’t avoid Sonny forever, and this isn’t their first conflict. Michael hasn’t seen his father since Bobbie’s funeral. Willow pushes him not to give up on his father. Michael heads out to work.
Alone, Willow looks through family photos on a tablet and seems conflicted as she stares out the window.
On the next General Hospital: Brook Lynn tells someone, “Let’s do this!” At the PCPD, John asks someone what they went to jail to hide from him. Finn tells Chase that their dad can no longer live on his own. Martin asks Nina, “How exactly do you propose to do that?” Michael visits Sonny and hopes his dad can forgive him. Anna yells at someone, “Get the hell out of my way!”
