General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) seems to have an idea about the direction she wants the new writing regime to take her character in. However, Grahn decided to pose a question on social media to get some fan feedback, too.
Alexis has been out of prison for quite some time, but the show’s struggled to find the right path for her since she was stripped of her law license.
Although Alexis has found work at The Invader, that career has never been a big hit with viewers.
Even before Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte were announced as the show’s new co-head writers, GH fans have been vocal about their desire to see Alexis back in the courtroom doing what she loves.
Alexis has admitted she misses being a lawyer – and plenty of fans miss her days as an attorney as well!
It appears Nancy Lee Grahn herself has joined the fight to get Alexis’ lawyer career back on track, so let’s look at what she had to say on X, the social media app formerly known as Twitter.
“Question for #GH most loyal and discerning audience; Should Alexis get her law license back?” Grahn asked in a recent post.
Of course, it didn’t take long for Grahn to receive boatloads of reposts, likes and positive replies about the idea.
Fans overwhelmingly agree that it’s time for Alexis to return to court and resume success in her former career.
Some viewers pointed out that if characters can rise from the grave, then Alexis’ law license can surely be reinstated!
It doesn’t matter how the writers explain it as long as they come through on this.
It looks like Patrick Mulcahey is actually good friends with Nancy Lee Grahn in real life, so maybe he’ll be personally invested in giving Alexis more interesting stories moving forward.
An easy way to make that happen is to make Alexis an attorney again, so let’s hope that’s indeed the direction her character will take down the road.
