General Hospital Update: Monday, January 29 – Maggie’s Apartment Search Ends in Panic – Esme Headed for Paris
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 29, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will stop by the courtroom and find out that Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) testimony got a bit bumpy.
However, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will hope that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) can come through with more information on the oncologist Dennis Muldoon saw.
Gregory Chase (Greg Harrison) will confirm to Alexis that Mr. Muldoon already knew he had cancer, so that’ll lead to her getting updates on his attempt at medical malpractice fraud.
The goal was to frame Finn so that he’d look negligent and take him down so that Mr. Muldoon’s family could tackle a mountain of debt.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will push Martin to expose the plot in court, but Martin may warn that they still need the oncologist’s name and proof that he gave Mr. Muldoon a cancer diagnosis.
Sam will hopefully track the doctor down and offer a name that Martin can put on the witness list, but that may not be necessary since Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is on the verge of a major courtroom announcement.
It sounds like the lawsuit will get dropped within the next couple GH episodes, so that’s great news for Finn.
In Toronto, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will alarm Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt) with their sudden arrival, but she may promise Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) hasn’t been there.
Maggie will let the cops search her place, so Dante and Chase will discover that Esme planted false clues – meaning she only wanted them to think she was hiding out in Canada.
Back with Alexis, it looks like she’ll also help Laura Collins (Genie Francis) figure out that Esme offered a phony trail.
After Laura spends some time begging Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to wake up and help her handle all this, she’ll ultimately connect the Esme dots and panic over her targeting Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in Paris.
After Spencer wines and dines Trina, they’ll look forward to a river cruise and this new chapter of their future together.
Sadly, Esme will have other plans and will catch up with the pair later during the week of January 29-February 2.
Although Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be ready to wash her hands of Esme for good, she’ll soon have another faceoff to fret over.
In the meantime, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will urge Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to keep his eye on the prize, so she’ll make sure he shows up to physical therapy and gives it his all.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Portia will have a lot of Trina trouble to worry about soon enough, so don’t miss all the action.
