Is General Hospital Setting Up Drew To Be Dumped By Carly To Accommodate A Jason-Carly Reunion?
The New Year has started in a big way for General Hospital fans. As the ABC soap has finally granted a long awaited, much hoped for wish. The return of Jason Morgan. That, too, not in a recast form, but portrayed by OG – Steve Burton! Does it get better than that? Well, it just might be for Jason-Carly shippers! And, er- Drew opposers! There is a flaming chance that when Jason reappears in Port Charles, he might also re-ignite a romance with his once-upon-a-time bride!
Drew -Carly Are Destined To Go Kaput
So, while many fans have still been holding a torch for a Sonny-Carly reunion, they may have to wait – a lot. Because, it does not look like Sonny and Nina are done yet on General Hospital. They still have a future. However, Drew and Carly, on the other hand, might not have one! We know that Drew has been having a hard time ever since his prison stint. He is traumatized, and it is showing. In fact, it is manifesting in his everyday life and behavior.
In one of the recent episodes, the menacing threat that he gave Nina on General Hospital was cold and menacing. Bringing forth a side of him that we have not seen before. Moreover, the 2024 preview already concreted the fact that Drew and Carly will be on thin ice. Adding to that, the latest spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episodes, while Carly grieves her mother, Drew constantly pushes for revenge on Nina. His rage finally ticks Carly off, and the two of them have a massive clash.
Jason- Carly Forever And Ever On General Hospital?
As we said earlier, Sonny and Nina are not done with each other yet on General Hospital. Not even close to it. So if Carly and Drew’s relationship collapses, which appears highly likely the way things are going. She will be single by the time Jason settles down in Port Charles once again. While he may not have contested with Sonny when the mafia returned right around Jason and Carly’s wedding. We are pretty sure he would face off with his long-lost twin for Carly.
But then, if Carly dumps Drew, Jason won’t really have to compete for it on General Hospital. So, it seems pretty viable that when Jason returns, so will his feelings for his two-minute bride.
