General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return is coming up, so fans are eager to see him on canvas again. It’s always exciting when a familiar face resurfaces, so let’s talk about five things we want to see when Jason gets back.
1) Jason and Sam’s romantic reunion
You can’t please everyone, but there’s no denying that Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have a long history as well as a loyal fanbase.
It’d be nice to see Sam and Jason get a real chance at a lasting romance once Jason’s back in the picture.
2) Carly and Jason’s BFF reconnection
Of course, Jason and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have a special bond as well, but it arguably works best when they keep things platonic.
Although we’d like to see Jason and Sam as reunited lovers, Jason and Carly should get their own opportunity to shine as reconnecting BFFs.
3) Jason bonding with Jake and Danny
Jason will have to make up for a lot of lost time one he’s back on canvas, especially with his sons.
Let’s hope GH writers give Jason some good scenes to show he’s bonding with Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) again.
4) Sonny’s right-hand man back in action
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has come to rely on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in Jason’s absence, but Jason deserves to reclaim his role as Sonny’s right-hand man sooner or later. It’ll be fun once we inevitably see Jason in action hero mode once more.
5) Jason’s big splash as Port Charles return kicks off
Since we already know Jason Morgan’s comeback is in the works, the show will have to find other ways to surprise fans when it comes to his return.
Jason made a big splash the last time he showed up alive in Port Charles and broke through a skylight, so the bar is set pretty high!
However, there are some hints about a shocking face from Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) past showing up on her doorstep to ask for help.
If that’s Jason, then it sounds like he’ll indeed have a splashy kickoff to his next stint.
