General Hospital’s Josh Swickard and His Family Set Off for a New Adventure: ‘Saying Bye to L.A. Was Bittersweet’

General Hospital’s Josh Swickard (Chase) and his wife Lauren have a lot to celebrate these days. Not only are they happily raising their two children, daughter Savannah Kaye and son Arthur, they are now doing it in a whole new setting. Lauren shared news that the couple had taken their family and moved out of Los Angeles and… “bought a farm!”

 

Along with the news, Lauren posted a video and stated, “After a nine-month farmhouse renovation, we are so happy to tell the world… we bought a farm!”

A farm, wow! And as you can imagine, that’s a big move for sure. In fact, Lauren admitted, “We know we have a lot to learn,” but she also knows they have so many memories to make during their new adventure. “Saying bye to Los Angeles was bitter sweet,” she continued. “But we are looking forward to the next chapter!”

The family’s excitement was apparent in the video, which featured Swickard and his clan walking and riding through an orchid, as well as shots of their horses — big and small — and the ABC soap actor dressed in true farmer attire.

 

 

 

We are so excited for the couple and their children, as was The Young and the Restless’ Courtney Hope (Sally), who cheered, “OMG dreams… so happy for y’all!”

For those wondering, there hasn’t been any word if this will affect Swickard’s daytime role, so, as of now, you can plan on still seeing Chase in Port Charles.
